Obverse: Smoke Thornbacks’ cigarettes monopoly machine made. (steam).
Reverse: Although using exquisite tobaccos and best rice paper the making by machinery enables them to offer to the consumer.

Thornbacks’ cigarettes were a London based Tobacco Company and sold there cigarettes to the Australasian Colonies.
There are two token variety’s, this one being the scarcer of the two, made in brass, dated 1880, Obverse gFine-aVF, reverse has a large scratch.
