Obverse: Bust of Gustav III, King of Sweden facing right.

Legend: GUSTAVUS III • D • G • REX • SVECIAE • (Gustav III King of Sweden by the Grace of God).

Reverse: Crowned lined orb with the Three Crowns of Sweden within the Chain of the Order of Seraphims. The Chain pendant divides date and mintmark below, while value is at both sides of the orb. Above the crown is the King's motto.

Reverse legend: FÄDERNESLANDET • (The Fatherland).

Edge reads: MANIBUS NE LAEDAR AVARIS (May not be damaged by greedy hands).
