AR Drachm, 310-301 B.C. Struck during the period when Antigonos I Monophthalmos controlled the city of Kolophon (circa 310-301 B.C.).
Kolophon mint. (Colophon, Ionia, Turkey).
Obverse: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Reverse: Zeus Aëtophoros seated left on stool-throne, eagle on outstretched right hand, holding sceptre with left hand.
Reverse legend: AΛEΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ (Alexander (III, the Great).
