AR Denarius circa 46 B.C. Struck at the miliatary mint while on campaige in North Africa.

Obverse: Head of Ceres right, wearing wreath of barley.

Legend: COE TERT - DICT ITER.

Reverse: Cumulus, aspergillum, jug and lituus (symbols of the pontificate). In above field AVGVR. In outer right field, D and below, PONT MAX.

Silver, 3.87g, 18.5 x 17.4mm (oval flan).
