The House of Tudor.

Second Coinage, 1526-44.

Mint mark: Arrow (52).

Groat, Laker bust D, larger aquarer face with roman nose, fluffy hair, crown arch does not break inner circle.

Obverse: Crowned and draped bust of King Henry VIII facing right.

Legend: hEnRIC’ × VIII’ × D’ × G’ × R’ × AGL’ × Z × FRAnC’ (Henry the Eighth by the Grace of God King of England and France).

Reverse: Quartered shield of arms of England and France over long cross fourchée, saltire in each fork.

Reverse legend: POSVI DEV’ × A DIVTO E’ mEV’ (I have made God my helper).

Tower mint London.

Silver: 0.925, 2.83g, 24mm.

Grade: Fine, reverse slightly off center.
