Awarded to the Royal Greek Armed Forces who participated from the start of World war II in Greece from 1940 to the fall of Crete in 1941.
Also awarded to foreign forces that fought on Greek soil.
Obverse: King George II of Greece, surrounded by a laurel wreath, joined at the top by a crown.
