Servius Sulpicius Galba.

Sestertius A.D. 68, (RIC 399).

Metal Orichalcum, (brass-like alloy of copper & zinc, very similar in composition to brass), Weight 24.19g, diameter 35mm, 3mm thick.

Struck in Rome in October 68 A.D.

Obverse: Lauereate, bust left. SER GALBA IMP CAESAR AVG TRP.

Reverse: Victory alighting right, holding wreath & palm. S-C.

Grade: Strong bust,VG -aFine for type, reverse Fair-VG.

Very scarce type (bust to left), from a very short reign.
