Roman Empire.

Obverse: Bust of Elagabalus, laureate, draped, cuirassed, right.

Legend: IMP CAES M AVR ANTONINVS AVG, (Imperator Caesar Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Augustus.
Supreme commander (Imperator) and Caesar Marcus Aurelius Antoninus, emperor.)

Reverse: Salus, draped, standing right, feeding snake held in her arms out of dish in left hand.

Legend: SALVS ANTONINI AVG, (Salus Antonini Augusti.
Health of Emperor Antoninus.)

Mint: Rome.

Silver, 4.32g, 21 mm x 23.5mm.

Grade: VF, the coin is unusual in that it is larger and heavier than is standard, the flan the coin was hammered on has not been removed to correct the weight.

Usual weight range for issue is 2.06 - 3.85g.
