Silver Hammered Sterling Penny.

Sterling type; class 10ab (primary phase).

Obverse: Legend around crowned facing portrait within inner beaded circle.

Legend: + EDWAR’ ANGL’ DNS hyB (Edward King of England Lord of Ireland).

Reverse: Long cross pattée, trefoil of pellets in angles, mint name around.

Reverse reads: CIVI TAS LON DON (City of London).
