Obverse: Crowned King standing facing within a Gothic arch holding sword with annulet pommel and Main de Justice, semee of seven Lis to left and right.
Legend: KAROLUS DEI GRATIA FRANCORUM REX, (CHARLES, by the grace of God king of the Franks.)
Reverse: Cross floured with crowns in angles.
Gold, .999, 3.78g, 27mm.
Grade: VF-gVF with weak areas, there is a chip out of the coin at 6 O'clock.
