Queen Victoria's diamond jubilee was celebrated with great enthusiasm throughout the British Empire including in Australia. Many commemorative medals were produced both here and across the British Empire. This medal lacks the imperial crown featured above the coat of arms on many other Australian produced medals commemorating the diamond jubilee.
Holed at the top with suspension loop.
Scarce single bust variety, Gilt bronze, 22mm.
Grade: aUNC, gilt almost compeletly intact, some surface dirt.
