Scarce issue, the date is unclear but appears to be 314 B.C.
Struck in the name of Alexander the Great 336-323 B.C; posthumous issue struck in 314 B.C. (?).
Obverse: Head of Young Herakles right, clad in lion skin.
Reverse: Zeus seated left on backless throne, his right leg drawn back, holding an eagle and sceptre, AΛEΞANΔPOY at right, Phonenician date on left side.
Ake at date believed to represent Tyre's king Azemikos.
Silver, 16.84g, 30-31mm.
Grade: VF, obverse off center and double struck.
