AR denarius, struck at Rome, A.D. 112-114.

Obverse: Laureate bust of Trajan to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder.

Legend: IMP TRAIAVS AVG GER DAC P M TR  P COS VI PP.

Reverse: Trajan senior seated left on curule chair, holding patter in his right hand and sceptre in his left.

Reverse Legend: DIVVS PATER TRAIAN.

Silver, 3.5g, 20mm.

Grade: gFine-aVF, ragged flan edge, attractive tone.
