Campaign: Anglo-Boer War 1899-1902.
British & Imperial forces.
Three clasps: SOUTH AFRICA 1902, ORANGE FREE STATE, CAPE COLONY.
Silver medal, 36mm.
Obverse: Queen Victoria veiled bust with a small crown.
Legend: VICTORIA REGINA ET IMPERATRIX, Latin translation, Queen Victoria and Empress.
Reverse: Britannia, helmeted, robed and standing facing right, supports a flag with her left arm and extends her right arm, in her hand she holds a wreath, behind her a Union shield.
Legend: South Africa.
Grade: gVF old cleaning, some damage to the original ribbon.
Medal 2. Jubilee Medal 1935.
This medal was issued to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of King George V.
Obverse: Conjoined busts of George V & Queen Mary.
Legend: GEORGE.V.AND.QUEEN.MARY.MAY VI. MCMXXX
Reverse: Royal monogram under crown eitherside MAY 6 1910 - MAY 6 1935 within ornate edge.
Silver, 32mm.
Both medals mounted on a metal bar, both with their original ribbons.
