This coin is from the GSC hoard of Carson city (cc) minted dollars found in bank vaults and subsequently sold by the U.S. Government in 1974. This hoard contained 962,638, 1884cc dollars, out of a total mintage of 1,136,000 coins.

Obverse: Laureate head left, date below flanked by stars.

Designer: George T. Morgan.

Reverse: Eagle within 1/2 wreath.

Silver, 0.900, 0.7734 oz. ASW, 26.73g, 38.1mm, edge reeded.

Grade: MS60-63. This coin has never been placed in circulation by the U.S. Government. However as these coins were kept in bags the coin has multiple scratches.
