1601 Halfgroat, without rose or date, two pellets behind bust.

Obverse legend: 1 . E : D : G : ROSA : SINE : SPINA (Elizabeth by the Grace of God, a rose without a thorn.)

Reverse: CIVI TAS LON DON,  long cross fourchee over quartered shield of arms, mint mark 1. 

Legend: City of London. (London mint).

Silver, 0.925, 1.11g, 17mm.

Grade: aVF , slight wave to the flan, weak areas in the legend both sides.
