Obverse: Mature draped bust to the left by Thomas Brock, his initials, T.B; appear on the truncation.

Legend: VICTORIA . DEI . GRA . BRITT . FID . DEF . IND . IMP . (Victoria by the Grace of God Queen of the Britains Defender of the Faith Empress of India.)

Reverse: St. George slaying the dragon, by Benedetto Pistrucci, his initials, appear on the exergue.

Mint mark: The branch mint mark 's' for Sydney is placed in the centre of the exergue or ground line on the reverse.

Catalogue: Spink# 3877, KM# 785.

Mintage: 3,067,000.

Gold, 0.917, 0.2355 oz. AGW, 7.99g, (actual worn weight 7.90g), diameter 22.05mm.

Edge: Milled, struck with an upright die axis, 1.52mm.
