On the death of Theodosius in 395, Honorius succeeded to the throne of the Western division of the Empire.

Obverse: Diademed and draped bust of the emperor.
Legend: D.N.HONORIVS P.F.AVG
Reverse: Victory walking left, trophy on shoulder, dragging captive behind her.
Bronze, 1.53g, 13mm.
Grade: VG-Fine.
Believed to be RIC 23c (?). This coin comes with an old SEABY identification envelope.
